I started DMAD when I was traveling and it has evolved several times into what you see now. It was started in 2011 as a blog about location independence and lifestyle design. After seeing that there’s really no need for yet another lifestyle blog, I decided to refocus DMAD in mid-2012 as a technology blog and a platform for talking about things I really care about and cover things that are actually useful to people.

If you want to learn more about me personally, check out my page. I used to identify myself as a minimalist & digital nomad, but I no longer care to center DMAD around those topics. Instead I’d like to write about tech that I care about and – and toys / trends / tools that I like.
